Terms for using Erikiimo

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you act for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

Keep your sign-in email secure and your account information accurate. You are responsible for activity in your account. Workspace administrators control who can join a workspace and what each member can do.

What Erikiimo does

Erikiimo helps organisations map facilities and assets, plan protective actions, record checks and evidence, and receive weather and operational alerts.

Erikiimo supports decisions; it does not replace your own judgement, professional advice, safety obligations or emergency services. Forecasts, alerts and third-party data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and delivery by WhatsApp or email depends on providers and networks outside our control. We do not guarantee that using Erikiimo will prevent loss or damage.

Your data

Your organisation owns the records it puts into Erikiimo. You give us permission to host, process and display them only to provide, secure and support the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you add, including information about other people, and for obtaining consent before registering someone else's phone number or email for alerts.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights or upload content you are not allowed to share.
• Upload malware or attempt to access another organisation's workspace, our systems or data without permission.
• Interfere with, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows.
• Use Erikiimo's alerts to send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or for marketing.
• Resell or provide Erikiimo to third parties without our written agreement.

Plans and payments

Creating an account is free. Paid plans are optional; their price, billing period and what they include are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider, subject to its terms. Prices include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout.

Contact support@erikiimo.io about billing questions or refunds; we handle them in line with applicable consumer law.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Erikiimo available and secure but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce a paid plan.

Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using Erikiimo and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the service; where reasonable, we will tell you first.

After closure, we delete or anonymise data as described in the Privacy Policy. Ask us before closing if you need a copy of your organisation's data.

Our intellectual property

Erikiimo, its software, design and content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, Erikiimo is provided "as is" and we disclaim implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from these terms or the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for Erikiimo in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell account holders about significant changes in advance by email or in the application. Continuing to use Erikiimo after changes take effect means you accept them.
